The stock market advanced investors
course is a higher level diploma course that teaches the principles and
theories of investing on the stock market to an advanced and professional
level. It is a comprehensive study programme that caters for participants
with a little existing market experience, and who are looking to increase
their trading and investment skills in a wide range of world markets.
The aims of the course:
- To provide the student with a
clear understanding of the international markets, and the mechanics of
trading in shares, and overview the basics required when investing in
the stock market in easy to understand terms;
- Understand new methods of
investing through the internet and online brokerages;
- Help you to understand and
assess the risks with different methods of investing;
- How to reduce tax whilst
increasing your income and capital gain;
- How to analyse company financial
reports to identify business excellence;
- The hidden danger: the type of
business to fear and avoid;
How to calculate an attractive share price and identify whether or not a
company’s share price represents good value;
- Identify companies that have
demonstrated consistent earning power;
- How to calculate return on
equity, in order to identify the economic excellence of a business;
- How to read a balance sheet to
identify how much debt the business has, and the relationship of this
debt to the business’s earning capacity.
Course content:
The course is folder based and is divided into easy to understand modules
covering the above mentioned topics with supporting text book and
reference material. These are yours to keep, and contain valuable
templates that you will be able to refer back to and use over and over
again. There are around 60 hours worth of study in all.
All course material is written in
plain language with plenty of references and definitions to the sometimes
confusing jargon. Students study the modules at their own pace, completing
tutor marked assessments on each section.
