The personal financial independence
investors course is a home study diploma course that teaches the basic
principles of investment, helping to enable students to take control of
their finances, reduce their debt and borrowing, and to gain greater
financial independence and knowledge.
Aims of the course:
- Assess your own financial
position and set some clear and achievable financial goals;
- Learn some basic tips and tricks
to reduce your mortgage costs, control and reduce your borrowing and
debt, and increase the income on your investments;
- Teach the basics required when
investing in the stock market in easy to understand terms;
- Help you to understand risks
with different methods of investing;
- Help you gain a sound
understanding of investment risks and investment techniques;
- Teach you how to analyse and
pick stocks to build your own portfolio;
- Help you both profit from
investments and convert poor performers back to cash;
- Reduce your tax on profits and
investments;
- Build long term financial
independence and secure your financial future;
- Understanding of a variety of
investment choices including individual shares, unit trusts, exchange
traded funds, index linked funds and covered warrants.
Course content:
The course is folder based and is divided into easy to understand modules
covering the above mentioned topics with supporting text book and
reference material. These are yours to keep, and contain valuable
templates that you will be able to refer back to and use over and over
again. There are around 60 hours worth of study in all.
All course material is written in
plain language with plenty of references and definitions to the sometimes
confusing jargon. Students study the modules at their own pace, completing
tutor marked assessments on each section.

The stock market introductory
