Designed
to meet the needs of students wishing to study from home, EC01 "Early
Education Diploma Course" is intended to provide the introductory
training and underpinning knowledge necessary to both find employment in
this field and progress to higher qualifications as and when required. The
majority of students taking this course are new to early education and are
looking for a course which can provide them with both the basic knowledge
in order to assist in a kindergarten or pre-school setting, yet at the
same time allow them to more readily access higher Nursery Nursing
qualifications. Indeed, a great many successful EC01 students will, once
working, progress on to the NNEB or NVQ3 certificates via their employers.
Students
study the following listed topics in easy to learn stages, their
performance being assessed by the marked assignments and an examination
assignment, all completed within your own home. Performance on the course
is graded by continuous assessment of both written and examination
assignments. Diplomas are issued on completion. Students achieving a pass
will be entered onto the register of college graduates and may take full

A fascinating course giving students a comprehensive insight into
both child care and behaviour, and early psychological development. The
course has been designed to appeal to anyone who is interested in child
psychology and behaviour,

birth to early teens. Common behavioural problems are covered in depth, possible causes
