Fellowship study programmes and are intended to suit students who already have some background knowledge in the relative field, either from self interest, employment in the related area, or from previous study.

Without doubt the most comprehensive course in Egyptian studies we have ever offered for home study, the programme allows suitable students to gain a thorough working knowledge of the culture, principal monuments and surviving antiquities of each of the main periods of dynastic Ancient Egypt. Topics covered within the course include detailed sections on each of the important pharaohs and periods, the architecture, function, and decoration, of principal monuments, a comprehensive study of the changing culture, myth and religion across the entire dynastic time line, and a detailed section on the surviving art and artefacts - their discovery, importance and place in history.

Presented in our standard flexible study format, the course is intended to last approximately 18 months. All materials and supporting text books are included and assessment is on a continuous basis with 12 marked assignments and a final thesis.

Duration: Presented in our standard flexible study format, approximately 800 hours home study. Students work at their own pace, but by working 5 to 6 hours per week can expect to complete the course within 18 months.
